Costs and Coverage
Contracted care
As of 1 January 2026, Ivy Psychologie has contracts with the following health insurers:
– Zilveren Kruis (Zilveren Kruis, Interpolis, De Friesland, FBTO, Pro Life)
– Zorg en Zekerheid
– Caresq (Eucare/Aevitae)
– A.S.R. (A.S.R. and Ditzo)
– D.S.W. (D.S.W. and Stad Holland)
As of 1 April 2026, we will also have a contract with:
– CZ (CZ, OHRA and Nationale Nederlanden)
This means that the treatment provided within these contracts is fully reimbursed, provided that there is:
– a valid referral from the general practitioner,
AND
– a diagnosis that falls under the Health Insurance Act.
Always check your policy conditions for the deductible and any additional requirements.
With health insurers other than those listed above, (partial) reimbursement may also be possible. Whether and how much you are reimbursed depends on:
– your health insurer,
– your policy (in-kind or restitution),
– the statutory deductible (€385 in 2025).
Care eligible for reimbursement
At Ivy Psychology, you can receive treatment for the following DSM-5 diagnoses:
– Personality disorders

Cases that are not eligible for reimbursement on their own
The symptoms listed below are only reimbursed when they are part of one of the diagnoses above:
– Negative self-image
– Aggression problems
– Complaints related to cultural background
Non-reimbursed care
Ivy Psychology does not provide care for:
– Eating disorders

– Psychotic disorders
This type of care falls outside the offered services and is therefore not reimbursed under the Health Insurance Act.
Referral letter
For reimbursement within the BGGZ, a referral letter from your GP is required. The diagnosis must fall within the conditions of the Dutch Health Insurance Act (Zvw).
Longer treatment
Care within the BGGZ is intended for short-term therapy. If your needs require more time, longer treatment is possible on a private basis. In that case, the private rate of €168.94 per session (60 minutes) applies.
Self-payers
When you choose private care or a treatment outside of the reimbursed Basic Mental Health Care (BGGZ), the following rates apply. These rates are determined by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) and fall under the Other Care Product (OZP).
Diagnostic consultation (intake) – 60 minutes: €190.88
Treatment – 60 minutes: €168.94
Treatment – 90 minutes: €254.06
Intercollegiate consultation short (< 5 minutes): €30.99
Intercollegiate consultation long (< 15 minutes): €89.24
These transparent rates apply to clients who pay for their sessions themselves or when treatment is not covered by the health insurance.
Reimbursed care
Only available within the BGGZ.
Referral required
A valid referral from your GP is necessary.
Deductible
Your insurer will always deduct the statutory deductible first.
